Palace Chemicals proudly presented its tiling product range at The Tiling Show on 10th May at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. With more than 45 years’ experience supplying products for the tiling industry, Palace has developed what it describes as a comprehensive range that includes preparation and aftercare products, ready-mixed adhesives, cement-based adhesives and grouts, levellers and waterproofing products.
The Liverpool-based adhesives manufacturer’s display included Pro Gyp-Base, a fast track system allowing tiles to be fixed on an anhydrite-based floor screed before it is fully dry, and Rock-Tite, which primarily supports the fixing of exterior porcelain and stone.
The stand also featured refreshed Palace branding, designed to reflect the company’s position of market strength, it says, as well as its aim: to make business more profitable for its customers and make life easier for consumers.
Steve Ball, commercial director of Palace, said: “It was great to network and speak with new and familiar faces at this year’s Tiling Show – a fantastic annual event for the tiling industry, which we look forward to see grow and gain momentum. The show was an excellent opportunity to display our new branding, packaging and product ranges, helping us to deliver our goal to supply high performance products for the tiling industry, as well as seeing what others are doing to innovate in the tiling industry.”
“The positive feedback we received during the Show made it even better for Palace Chemicals to win an Award in the evening at TTA Awards,” Steve Ball says.
Palace Chemicals was also honoured to win Best Commercial Project – Small (Up to 250sqm) at TTA Awards, indicating the quality of installations the company’s tiling range supports. The company says this achievement is no doubt down to the “superbly formulated” properties of its adhesives, plus the standout tiling installation delivered by contractor Richmond Ceramics. Palace Chemicals’ Easi-Flex adhesive and Anti-Mould grout are designed to provide long pot life and high strength bonding, supporting the complex installation of House of Ming’s 143sqm individually tiled basket weave marble flooring.
